The tlayudas are delicious! Great flavor and service, the cold chocolate is 100% authentic Oaxacan, we really enjoyed it, and the portions are very generous.
If I had to describe the taste of tlayudas with just one word, it would be "Happiness"! I can come here every day to eat one, authentic Oaxacan ingredients, prepared over a firewood, of course 100% recommended!!
The only thing that could perhaps be improved is adding more fans. The food was excellent.
The tlayudas are delicious, they are made at the moment and over charcoal, so it takes time but it is worth it.

Not fancy family style restaurant with the charcoal BBQ right in the seating area so you can see them make your amazing dinner. Fresh and so delicious
Tlayudas are definitely a regional speciality native to Oaxaca, so finding this little eatery was a real treat. Even other locals didn't know about it. It's rustic and open-air seating (aka shorts and t-shirts are appropriate). But what won me over was 1) the variety offered, even vegetarian options and 2) the friendly service. This is Cancun Centro, outside la Zona Hotelera, so English is limited. But our young waiter still tried his best to explain everything and made us feel welcomed.
